What not to miss on a Disney trip

When going on a Disney trip there are many experiences you don't want to miss. In this blog I am going to list ten of them.

Firstly you have to get the iconic photo infront of the castle. This is not to be missed. It will give you a magical memory to look back on.

Secondly you must try one of the classic snacks. There are a few to chose from such as a dole whip, turkey leg, Mickey premium bar or Mickey shaped pretzel.

Whilst on your trip it would be nice to have a souvenir that will remind you of your holiday. There is so much to choose from whether it be a fridge magnet, a t-shirt, pen, Minnie ears or a frame. You will then be able to look at the item and remember your magical experience.

Next I think it is important to watch the parade. The parades at Disney parks are absolutely amazing. You get to see so many characters, the floats are incredible and the music will get stuck in your head!

Another way to meet the characters is through meet and greets. Some of the parks have a princess pavilion where you can meet a mystery princess. There are also other characters dotted around the parks. If you buy yourself an autograph book and pen you will also be able to get each character's signature.

If you want to have more of a relaxed day you can go around the park and look for hidden Mickey's. There are hundreds if not more all around the park you may not see if you are rushing around.

There are so many great shows across the different Disney Parks. I would recommend that you at least choose to watch one of them.

Deciding what rides to go on can be tricky, especially if you are with a group of people who like different things. I would recommend you at least go on one of the original rides like the Carousel or It's a Small World.

Next I would recommend having at least one dining experience, depending on your budget. There are so many lovely restaurants around the parks. It could be a character one or it could be one of the themed restaurants. With so many to choose from it is best to research before your trip and get yourself a dining reservation, as these can get booked up very quickly.

Lastly I really think it is worth staying in the parks until closing to see one of the nighttime shows. Whether that be one of the nighttime firework shows or a different show such as Fantasmic. The shows in the castle park often have projections on the castle, which are absolutely amazing.
