Comparing Disney Cruise ships

Disney have a number of cruise ships and are still due to add more in the future. We are going to look at and compare the different cruise ships that guests can currently experience.

First there is the Magic. This was Disney's first ever cruise ship, it launched on the 30th July 1998. The gross tonnage for this ship is 83,969. This ship is 964 feet in length. The Magic has 11 decks. The guest capacity of this ship is 2,700.

The second ship that Disney launched was the Wonder. This ship first set sail on the 15th August 1999. The gross tonnage for this ship is 84,1130. It is the same length as the magic at 964 feet. The wonder has 11 decks. The passenger capacity of this ship is 2,700.

The Dream was Disney's third cruise ship to launch on the 26th January 2011. The gross tonnage for this ship is 129,960. This ship is 1,114 feet in length. This ship has 14 decks. The guest capacity of this ship is 4,000.

The fourth ship in Disney's fleet is the Fantasy. It first set sail on the 31st March 2012. The gross tonnage for this ship is 129,960. This ship is also 1,114 feet in length. This ship has 14 decks. The capacity of this ship for passengers is 4,000.

The Wish is Disney's fifth ship, which made its first voyage on the 14th July 2022. The gross tonnage for this ship is 144,000. The Wish is 1,119 feet in length. The Wish has 14 decks. 
The capacity of this ship is 4,000 for guests.

The sixth ship in the Disney fleet is the Treasure. This first set sail on the 21st December 2024. The gross tonnage for this ship is 144,000. This ship is 1,119 feet in length. This ship has 14 decks. The passenger capacity of this ship is 4,000.

The Destiny is due to launch on the 20th November 2025 and it will have a gross tonnage of 144,000. The length of the ship will be 1,119 feet. The Destiny has 14 decks. This ship will be able to have up to 4,000 passengers.

Disney is due to launch the first sailing of the Adventure on the 15th December 2025. This ship will have a gross tonnage of 208,000. The length of this ship is going to be 1,122. The Adventure will have 19 decks, the most of any cruise ship to date. This ship will have a passenger capacity of 6,000.

Disney currently has five unnamed ships they are due to launch in the following years: 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031. At that point it will mean Disney will have a fleet of 13 cruise ships. Now we don't currently know if there will be any more new cruise ships after these.

Disney have two islands. The first one is Castaway Cay which opened in February 1996. The Disney cruise ships will often stop at this island for the day, so guests can experience it. On the island there is a buffet available, a shop, bike hire, sun loungers and a range of activities.

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is Disney's newest island which opened on the 6th June 2024. This island offers cruise ship guests food, a shop, sun loungers and beach activities.

There is an overview of the Disney Cruise ships. The smallest ships in the fleet are the Magic and the Wonder. The biggest ship once it sets sail is the Adventure. Which Disney Cruise ships have you sailed on?
