1. Disneyland California was the first Disney park to open. It opened on the 17th July 1955.

8. There was a time capsule buried in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. It was buried there in 1995. They are going to open it fifty years later.

9. Originally Cast Members were not allowed to have mustaches or beards. This rule changed in 2000.

10. The fastest ride at Disneyland California is the Incredicoaster. The ride reaches about 55mph.

11. The oldest ride in the Disneyland park is the King Arthur Carousel. It was originally built in 1922 for Toronto's Sunnyside Beach Park.

12. The drawbridge to Sleeping Beauty's Castle actually works. It is the only one that works out of all the Disney Parks.
