Disney Magic

The Disney Magic was Disney's first cruise ship. It was built in the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy. It first set sail on the 30th July 1998. It was last refurbished in May 2023.

On board this ship you can find many restaurants. The restaurants on board are Rapunzel's Royal Table, Lumiere's and Animator's Palate. Other places to grab something to eat include Cabanas, Duck-In Diner, Pinocchio's Pizzeria and Eye Scream Treats & Frozone Treats.

For an amazing dining experience there is the Royal Court Royal Tea. This experience is for children aged three to twelve where they will get to meet the Disney Princesses with their family.

On the Disney Magic guests can find the AquaDunk. This is a waterside at the top of the cruise ship. The floor drops out at the start and guests will drop 212 feet. Guests drop down three stories through a see-through tube and make a big splash at the end.

The ship also offers guests the opportunity to experience Broadway-Style shows. The shows on this ship are Tangled: The Musical, Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story and Disney Dreams - An Enchanted Classic.

There are many other experiences not to miss on the Disney Magic. There is Goofy's Pool and the Aqualab featuring the Twist 'n' Spout waterslide. There is also deck parties and fireworks at sea. On board the ship there is Buena Vista Threatre as well as lots of sports and recreation to take part in.

Depending on what time of year you go on the magic there are a few themed cruises. The themed cruises are Marvel Day at Sea, Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises.

On the ship there are areas just for the adults. There is the Soul Cat Lounge, the Senses Spa & Salon and Palo the restaurant. Other adult areas include the After Hours Adult District where you can find O'Gills Pub, Keys the piano bar and Fathoms nightclub. Oasis on the high seas is where the Quiet Cove Pool is as well as Signals pool bar and Cove Café. Adults have the chance to sip & savour at a tasting event on the ship. There is also a fitness center where you can use a variety of machines, have a personal trainer or get involved in one of the classes such as yoga, pilates or aerobics.

There is also different clubs/areas for the children. There is "it's a small world" nursery for children age six months to three years. There is Andy's Room and Marvel Super Hero Academy for children aged three to ten. There is Edge for children aged eleven to fourteen. Finally there is Vibe for children aged fourteen to seventeen.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an amazing experience where children can be transformed into a variety of characters such as a princess, a knight, a captain or a pirate.

When it comes to choosing staterooms and suites there are a few options for guests. The cheapest option tends to be an inside room which doesn't have a window. There is then an oceanview which has a porthole. Next there is a verandah room which has a balcony. The most expensive option is concierge which are more luxurious.
