Christmas at Disney

The Disney parks celebrate Christmas in such a magical way. In this blog we will look at the many ways in which the parks celebrate Christmas from parades to parties.

Parades

The parks offer guests the chance to watch magical Christmas parades. These parades have lots of floats, with many classic characters on them. The floats are heavily decorated with lights, statues and other decorations.

Characters

During the holiday season guests will get the opportunity to meet a wide range of characters in festive outfits. There are the classic characters in the Christmas outfits which include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. There are also many other characters to meet.

Parties

The parks put on parties during the evening in the festive season, where guests can meet characters, watch shows, have festive snacks and much more.

Snacks

Whilst it is the Christmas season guests can get the opportunity to purchase Christmas themed snacks. Some of the snacks guests can buy include cookies, rice krispie treats and cakes.

Shows

The parks put on festive shows including on the castle, down Main Street U.S.A, on the castle stage, there are also shows at the other parks. These shows will sometimes include music, characters, lights and fireworks.

Decorations

The parks are heavily decorated with Christmas decorations, from the massive Christmas tree at the end of Main Street U.S.A to lights on the castle. Guests will also notice lots of lights around the park as well as decorated lampposts.
