Facts about Shanghai Disneyland

1. Shanghai Disney opened on the 16th June 2016.

2. This resort has shared ownership between The Walt Disney Company and the Shanghai Shendi Group.

3. It was the first Disney resort in Mainland China.

4. This resort has the largest Disney castle, which is called the Enchanted Storybook Castle. This castle includes all the Disney Princesses and there are mosaics of the Chinese Zodiac.

10. The Gardens of Imagination land has more than 100 species of shrubs and 60 species of trees.

13. Shanghai is the second largest resort after Disney World in Florida.

15. This resort has a unique take on the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride. This ride is called Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure.
