New Year's Eve at Disney World

Here you can find out how you can celebrate New Year's Eve at Disney World from parties to fireworks and everything in between!

Firstly at the Magic Kingdom there is a fireworks display infront of the castle called Fantasy in the Sky. The times for this show are 7.30pm and 11.30pm, these shows are on the 30th December and 31st December.

At Epcot on New Year's Eve there will be a fireworks display on the World Showcase Lagoon called Luminous: The Symphony of Us, this will be shown at 6.30pm. At 11.54pm there will be a different show called Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration. Guests can also experience dance parties as well as live music. Some of the dance parties include a character dance party outside the Imagination! Pavilion and a silent DJ Dance Party which is between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions.

At Hollywood Studios guests can countdown to the New Year each and every hour from 7pm to 11pm. There is then a big fireworks countdown at 11.57pm. At this park guests can get involved with live music, DJ dance parties as well as meet characters. Whilst at Hollywood Studios guests can try some exclusive menu items on offer, including drinks and sweet treats.

At Animal Kingdom unfortunately there has been no announcements for anything special for New Year's Eve, hopefully this will change.

At Disney Springs there is a New Year's Eve party where guests can turn up from 8pm for a 9pm start. At the party there will be a DJ. At Amorette’s Patisserie there will be a special treat. The treat is a Countdown to Midnight Cake Bar.

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort at California Grill, there will be a special event called The Magic of New Year's Eve. At this event guests can experience the fireworks from a special viewing area, as well as dine at the restaurant with a four course meal. During the evening event there will be a live band, chances to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie and a champagne toast which is complimentary.
